Local estate agency Capsel Homes supports local charities and project

Mind Monmouthshire are super excited to announce our new corporate partnership with local estate agents Capsel Homes.

Every time Capsel sell a home, £50 will go directly into their ‘Community Pots of Gold’ fund to support three local charities: local mental health charity Mind Monmouthshire, Cyfannol Women’s Aid and Dads Can Cymru project. Therefore, when you sell your home with Capsel, you will have the satisfaction of knowing your sale will have a direct impact on your local community.

Dads Can Coordinator, Nadine Fletcher said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for the Dads Can Cymru project to be part of the Community Pots of Gold scheme.  All of the money donated to us will be used towards our wellbeing programme to promote healthy life skills for the whole family. Dads Can are delighted to be part of this amazing scheme.”

Helen Swain, Chief Executive Officer, Cyfannol Women’s Aid, said, “We’re delighted to be involved in this partnership and look forward to working with Capsel, as part of our ongoing commitment to increasing awareness of our domestic abuse and sexual violence support services. We’ve had over 1,000 more adults coming to us for advice and support since the pandemic which is an increase of 50% on last year.”

Mind Monmouthshire is an independent local charity supporting people's mental health and wellbeing across the county. It supports individuals living with a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, low confidence, self-esteem, stress, and anger issues.

Cyfannol Women’s Aid is an independent local charity which provides services and support throughout Gwent. Their mission is to empower women and children to flourish in a life free from domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Dads Can Cymru is a male support service operating across Monmouthshire, Newport and Blaenau Gwent, funded by the Big Lottery. The service supports fathers and father figures overcome challenges such as low confidence, mental ill health, relationship breakdown, access to children and negative lifestyle choices.
