Local Monmouthshire Charity launches Fundraising Appeal to raise awareness and support around Mental Health
In celebration of their 40th Birthday #40yrs4MentaHealth our local charity Mind Monmouthshire has launched a fundraising appeal to raise much needed funds to continue and develop services for the people of Monmouthshire, and is reaching out for your support.
1 in 4 people suffer from poor mental health, and over the 40 years this local Monmouthshire charity has supported thousands of people across the county. The Charity has kept going and kept services running through these difficult times; this year alone Mind Monmouthshire supported 3100 individuals in the county through various services https://www.mindmonmouthshire.org.uk/currentservices/
Operations Manager Bernadette Kelly said:
“ If you donate to us, or fundraise, 100% of your money supports the local community in Monmouthshire. We have served the people of Monmouthshire for over 40 years and have become a trusted organisation which is part of the fabric of the community. Fundraising provides a chance to not only raise much needed funds, but also to increase the awareness of the charity’s work and awareness around mental health too. The charity is looking for 40 people in Monmouthshire who are up for taking on their own challenge to help raise awareness and funds for the charity, along with helping recognise and celebrate Mind Monmouthshire’s 40 years of existence in serving the people of Monmouthshire.
